Hey everyone,

It’s been quite a while since I wrote the last post on the website, but this has been because of two main reasons. First and foremost, I have been working hard and been putting in the hours to put together an eBook for all of you called – “The best hiking trails in the US” which I’m planning to put here and also make available on Amazon, so more people can get hooked on to this beautiful thing of ours called hiking and trekking. Nature has so much to offer and I am obviously not going to be able to put everything into words, especially considering how many trails there are in the US, but I have hand picked some of the best trails that I’ve been on and will try to put them in words to the best of my ability, which will hopefully make people want to go and explore these paths and trails for themselves. The second thing that has kept me pretty occupied has been my main business which I’ve been really involved in lately and considering how much energy I’ve put into it, the benefits should have been greater. Anyway I wanted to let everyone reading this website about this upcoming project of mine which is at most half way done (in terms of writing) I have written more than 100 pages trying to describe some of the best things that the nature here in the United States has created, but the eBook itself is far from done.

How far has the book come thus far

50 %

The enormous amount of hiking trails that the US offers has left me no choice but to write for one – two hiking trails at most per state including Hawaii and Alaska for obvious enough reasons. I have tried putting in a few pictures that I have been able to acquire from friends or by myself, but I am no photographer and even though I’ve been on most of the trails I’ve written about, I did not take any pictures while being there, which was a pity considering how much I would have needed them now. I am pretty new to writing eBooks and I know that writing an eBook about the best hiking trails in the US might be a bit of an overkill, but I decided that this will be a nice start for my writing career so to speak. I have planned a bunch of other eBooks on related topics such as an eBook about hiking gear and equipment and many other things that beginners and intermediate trekkers could eventually benefit from.

One of the things that inspired me to write this eBook was the book about hiking the America’s most famous trail. It’s an amazing piece which I really liked from John Muir. It is easily one of the best hiking books I’ve read along with this one, but the problem with all hiking books that I’ve come across is that all of them are based locally. I’ve always wished that there would be a way to read about all best trails in the US in one place and this is why I’m writing this eBook myself, taking things into my own hands.

Honestly I have never thought that I’ll come to this idea before I did, but with some inspiration from some of the people here on the website, I’ve decided to give it a go. Lots of people are visiting the – Best hiking books on Amazon page and this was one of the reasons why I decided to give it a try and put some work into creating an eBook with all the necessary assets to it. Believe me pictures and other people’s opinions were hard to gather, especially considering the magnitude of this website so far, but I believe that nowadays I have enough time to do it. Hopefully people will love the book once it is out and believe me, you will be the first ones to get the news when it’s out. I am also planning on a special discount on all the subscribers of the website, so stay in touch and I’ll try to repay you!

I will try to keep the progress of the eBook published here on this page as it’s going to be a while before I manage to get it done, so this is the place where you can see where I am at with the Best hiking trails in the US eBook.

Right now I do not even have a cover designed and the only thing I was able to find on the web to put on this post was this image:

I should probably get back into the task of finding a good picture from my hiking adventures from the past year, which I did with a friend of mine who’s a photographer and had his equipment every single time. He was actually the one who inspired the best hiking tripods post and one of his pictures will be on the cover and many of his pictures will probably be included in the eBook itself. I will not review who he is for now, but he will be in the contributors section for sure.

This is what I have for now and I can only say that I’m really excited about this project and hopefully it will be a successful one just like this website has been a blessing for me so far.

This is all from me for now. I’d love to hear your thoughts about this project in the comments below everyone, so please hit me up about this.
